Family-and-veteran-led. Dennis Kidd plus the crew that's been with him for years.

DAK & Hilda Kidd
Founders
DAK (Dennis) started Decks by DAK 37 years ago and has always focused on his customers. Hilda has been steering the ship and keeping the business growing alongside him.
Tim Kidd
Owner & Operations Manager
Tim has been helping with the family business since he was 14 and took over the company two years ago. He credits acquiring the skills to manage the business to Virginia Tech's Corps of Cadets, where he earned a full-ride scholarship. He graduated with a Bachelor's in Business Management and a Minor in Leadership.
Dan Kidd
Sales Manager
Dan is also a graduate of Fluvanna and the Corps of Cadets. After serving in the military as a platoon leader in the 82nd Airborne, he started a career in real estate in Fayetteville. He worked summers in DAK all through high school and college and joined the company full-time in 2021.
David Kidd
Project Manager
David graduated from Virginia Tech in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts and served in the Virginia Army National Guard for over 9 years as an Ordnance Officer, finishing his service as a Captain. He's been a lead Project Manager at DAK for 3+ years and prioritizes customer service and craftsmanship on every build. David is a Fluvanna local with a growing family of four children.
Kaitlyn Lively
Office Manager
Kaitlyn is a college student, mother, dog lover, traveler, taco-fiend, and exceptionally good at keeping the office and our systems in order. She has dreams of owning her own trucking company one day. Until then, she's keeping DAK organized and running smoothly.
Bryan Harrington
Project Manager
Bryan is a devoted husband and father of two daughters with 16 years of experience in retail management, specializing in home improvement and building materials. Fun fact: Bryan's journey with DAK started back in 2005 as a helper. When he's not managing projects, you'll find him exploring new cities with his family.
Gabe Andersen
Marketing Director
Gabe is the marketing director for DAK. When he's not working with the team, he's playing with his four kids — biking, hiking, skiing, volleyball, church, and finding service projects together.
